Take your father into the hospital. Give the admissions clerk the information you received from Affinity. She/he can call and confirm with Affinity that your father is covered. Or tell you what you need to know to complete the application process.

It is possible that you could use a medical evaluation yourself. Depression is nothing to mess with, and you have a lot on your plate right now.

The job issue may be a result of your depression. If you were constantly worried about your father and talking about him at work, either with other employees or friends/family while at work, there may have been the APPEARANCE that you weren't interested in your work. That is all it would take.

Go to the employment office in your state and hunt around for the application for Unemployment Benefits. If you have worked in this country for more than six months you might be able to get a little financial assistance until you find another job.

At your job interviews do NOT talk about your personal problems, your father, etc. When you are asked about your last job and why you left, you could tell the interviewer that the previous employer had to cut back on employees (layoff). This will work for you even better if the unemployment benefits have started b/c the previous employer did not contest your benefits application.

REFRAIN from talking about your father and your other personal problems. Employers don't want to hear it. They are looking for qualified, enthusiastic people to do the job quickly and efficiently. If you talk about non-job issues it makes you look like a bad prospective employee.

I have insurance from work that I am able to use for therapy. My therapist is the one who got the sessions approved. If u have a trans group that u know of ask them what therapist they like. That is how I found mine.
U may also be able to find a top surgery doctor who will classify top surgery as a breast reduction. (I am in the process of looking for one my self)
And some insurance companies cover hysterectomies as well.
