Yes, Blue Cross in Africa is about useless. You need an international health insurance policy. We have links and information on our site about your options internationally. But, again, you are correct in thinking that the Blue Cross plan isn't doing you much good. We like the Reside Plans, Global Medical Plans and International Citizens Plans.Sally Said:

My suggestion to you is if you are already a citizen of the UK, go back there. Yes taxes are higher, but you also will receive health care in return. As you know their health care system is based on need not ability to pay.You will NEVER receive anything for free in the US, including but not limited to health care.
