Health problems associated with martial arts ?We Answered:
1st off your body is not use to this training in the beginning so there will be some aches and pains.the only risks are due to poor training habits such as locking out your elbow or knee while striking in the air. this is just an example and a comment one at that.
if you have a good instructor and train properly long term injuries can be avoided. this holds true for most martial arts.
i know exactly how that elbow block feels thats why i kick with the ball of the foot rather then the instep. its a lot better.
and that is another common one for beginners too.
not all schools kick with the ball of the foot. this is more of the non sport version of it.
what association are you affiliated with?
edit:> the reason i ask if association like the jka tend to have different types of injuries do to there training methods, the jka tends to have more ankle injuries and are what i consider ridged.
i have been in several shotokan organizations. but not i haven't been with the ika. i actually forgot about that one.
edit2:> for bruises buy some dit da jow, this is for external use only and not to be applied on open wounds.

Should I become a Health care Lawyer or a Nurse Practitioner? We Answered:
BY FAR, a Nurse Practitioner is in higher demand. Lawyers are a dime a dozen these days and my friend, who graduated in the top 10% of his law school class, took a law job that started at 30K a year! He hates it, he hates that he wasted all that time and money(!) to go to law school, and he now wishes he didn't. What a nightmare, right? Meanwhile, if you look on careerbuilder.com or monster.com and do a job search for your zip code, I GUARANTEE that at least half of the jobs listed are nursing jobs. They say that lately, if you're a nurse, you pretty much name your town and company and you've got a job. This one girl I know, who isn't very smart, has only her associate's degree and passed her nursing test (on the fifth try) and just started an entry-level Nurse's Assistant job in NJ, making $60K a year to START. Sounds pretty good, huh? I don't know you personally, but I think you'll enjoy a Nurse Practitioner job more, get more satisfaction out of what you are doing, and get better pay.Tom Said:

problems with your feet? looking for a foot health practitioner in Essex ?We Answered:
OK, Im not a perv!!Im a type 2 diabetic in South Essex :D
I would be interested in private treatment as the wait for the NHS service is stupid. I got a podiatry check up after about 3 months (back in Sept) and I am still waiting for a clinic appointment for treatment. As I am about to start a job which will involve being on my feet a lot I would use a service if it were reasonably priced.
