call your local welfare office they will know,,,or the department of human services,,,some are based on income,,i went to one and they charged me 20 dollars for just a physical for child and i signed a release form for old doctor to transfer records and then a week later they mailed me a bill for 7 dollars to transfer records, they did not tell me at the time i sign that they would charge me later, so, call first ,,,,,,

If your bf is sick, this should help. If he just needs a note to get out of work and is not sick, I would beg you to reconsider doing this. The clinics are always overwhelmed and their time should not be wasted.

Go to a Mexican hospital and have them take care of you. If asked for insurance tell them you left it in your hotel room and can get it for them after you are treated. Once treated, escape the hospital and come back over the border. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it.

I have no idea how long the waits are and I doubt the clinics can guess since it would vary from day to day based on how many people walk through the door.
