Sam's and Cosco aren't actually offering to get you on to a GROUP policy. Only employers can offer group policies. They're offering to get you an individually rated quote with one of their preferred carriers.

Completely different thing.

Membership companies do NOT offer group insurance, except to their EMPLOYEES.
