Bayside insurance offers two health plans. Under plan A Giselle would have to pay the first $100 of her?We Answered:
Let's set the equation to see where they're about even:100 + .25x = 150 + .20 x
Subtract 100 from both sides
.25 x = .20x + 50
Subtract .20x from both sides
.05x = 50
Divide by 0.05
x = 1000
so at the $1000 level,
Giselle pays 100 + 25% (900) = 325 under plan A.
Under plan B she would pay 150 + 20% (850) = 170 = 320
Anything over $1000 is going to save her money, because she'll only be paying 20% (not 25%) of each successive dollar.
Best to you.

Alright,so I am looking for a health plan for the first time. I'd like something inexpensive. Any ideas?We Answered:
You could possibly contact some of the Insurance carries. Some carries such as Humana, Aetna etc may offer individual policies. Most of the time that can be rather expensive, also maybe check with your school and see if they may know of anything. There is also state continuation as well, get on your states website and look for information there. Good luck!Rose Said:
Should members of Congress and the President try Obama's health care plan first for themselves?We Answered:
Absolutely! They are going to be pissed when they discover "health" is no part of the medical, insurance,pharmaceutical system.Sidney Said:

Bayside Insurance offers two health plans. Under plan A, Giselle would have to pay the first $180 of her ?We Answered:
For medical bill XPlan A bill = 180 + 0.4(X- 180)
Plan B bill = 190 + 0.25(X- 190)
set them equal to one another to see when they would be equal
180+0.4(X-180)=190+0.25(x-190)
0.15X=34.5
x=$230
any amount below this (and equal or greater then $180) will have Plan A be better and amount above $230 plan B is better.
Any bill less than $180 will be equal since they will pay the entire amount.
