Instead of being ticked off look, at it a different way. The Nurse was probably following protocol, she is not a pharmacist so her knowledge of drugs are limited. She was probably listening to your voice and how you pronounced your words. Also how the conversation was going.
Remember you where calling for advise about the drug inter actions and she was trying to assist you. Yeah, she called the ambulance probably through the 911 system where a cop car must be sent out to file a report. The cops are just trying to do there job from that point and the ambulance attendant's where trying to do there's.
The crisis line should have stayed on the phone though until help had arrived.
You should not feel ashamed nor depressed of the out come, but glad that some person out there was concern over your health even if it was uncalled for. Just remember everyone reacts a little differently to meds let alone mixing meds.
