usually it helps if someone has had the same illness or symthoms that they have! i think they just want to know what that person did and how to go about things! it probably puts peoples minds at rest!

only people who give shallow answers would not be interested ,to them maybe only the points matter,or just to do something to relieve some boredom.

Those of us who spend a lot of time and energy writing detailed answers are all interested if we are talking to our selves or a large audience .

and how large .is an incentive ,although ,if the counter stays in single numbers it may become a reason to think about doing something else

Jerry, I agree! I think it is fine if they have seen a dr and want to get more info from people who are going through it.. But to look here for answers before seeing a dr, and possibly using the advice they get here is very dangerous.
