Joshua Said:
As a christian do you sometimes feel pressed to be conservative? We Answered:
The Church DOES indeed pressure - albeit subtly (though not so subtly some times) - to be "conservative."But I gave your question a star not so much because of that, but because Jesus was sort of "liberal," if you will, and denounced the Pharisees because they were, in fact, "conservatives."
I've heard a definition about it: A conservative is someone who wants to hold on to what some liberal got for him in the first place.
Do you in fact want to be truly conservative? Then let's go all the way back to Genesis 3:16-17, and God's "punishment" for eating the apple in the Garden of Eden.
Verse 16: Let's have husbands be the absolute rulers of their wives; further, let's make it a LAW (like they do in those "conservative" Middle Eastern countries - you know, the "terrorists" we are fighting against) that the husband can do anything that he wants with his wife - INCLUDING rape her, if he so chooses. And let's also include in that law (again: like they do in the Middle East) that the woman is prohibited from fighting back against anything that her husband demands of her.
(Did you hear that, Mary Winkler?)
Verse 17: Let's forget all this nonsense about becoming rich for doing very little work (such as in acting, or playing sports, or any other forms of "entertainment" - even OWNING those forms of entertainment in the first place), and get back to good old-fashioned "conservative" hard work in order to earn your living. Or, like Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 3:10: "You don't work, you don't eat."
(As an aside: I wonder how much work Abraham himself did after he became "so rich"? I guess the picking and choosing what you were going to believe from the Bible began a LONG time ago.)

One man's conservatism is another man's liberalism.

Have you ever sought mental health treatment & didn't find it helpful? We Answered:
Absolutely. The best thing I ever did for myself was quit listening to doctors and therapists. I stopped taking medications and seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist and just started living my life. I made sure to eat healthy and get tons of exercise and sunlight and just stopped thinking about myself as "sick". And it worked. I've never felt better.Tamara Said:
Guy cuts his Penis off in London! Must read article, do you find it funny? We Answered:

Kirk Said:
Really funny and (nasty) article I just read. Do you find it funny? We Answered:
God, don't you just hate that when it happens?!Jaime Said:
what does this article mean?We Answered:
It means that mental illness would now have to be treated like any other illness. For example some insurance carriers will not cover any mental health related issues. Some limit the amount of care you can get for mental health issues. This changes that. Now mental health issues are treated the same as other health issues.Alicia Said:
What do you think of this Article???We Answered:
ok, i'm sorry bro, i didn't know anyone would ever do that. i'm sorry i should've checked it out first. crazy guy, maybe he never got to use it haha.
