Hospitalization should go only as far for illegals for checking and caring for potential and nasty diseases that can be a threat to the public health and given help in this department with no questions asked. We should build special hospitals designed only to check and process illegals along the border for this purpose only. If they have TB, cholera, leprosy and anything else that can become a threat, then they should be treated with no hassles of immigration status. For anything else, then they are on their own buddy.

Now this will tick people from both sides, yet hear me out. The reasons they would not be asked for status and be treated for such things with out hassle, because that way they would come and take care of it and reduce the chances of it being transmitted to the general public. Remember, these people are being hired in our restaurants and other various places that such illnesses can be transmitted very easily to the members of the general public. If we build such things, and hassle them about status, they will not come and then they would be a threat to the public at large. While we are building these hospitals, we should make these centers equipped and be used for all people (both legal and illegal) to treat people with possible epidemic illnesses (like aids or lord forbid, bird flu.) and used them to treat people free of charge and use them as hospitals geared to treat others in case of a bio attack. That way if a plague does hit here in the US, we can use these centers to treat these cases only, reliving the stress on normal ER rooms and reduce the rate of infection between patients and wards. I think it would be a good idea, no?
