I usually just show them my nasty feet and say, "Skin viruses happen when you don't go to the bathroom on time, or when you walk around in public toilets barefoot". Then I stick out my coffee-burned tongue and say, "A cold is a virus that crawls into your throat and rots your tongue when you don't wash and dry your hands." Then I play peekaboo with them until they pass out.

Anyway, that sounds like a really complicated topic, and I don't believe that there's a lot out there covering healthy nutrition for the target audience of preschool. You're lucky if you can get them to eat at all. But maybe turning someplace other than the TV, like a book, and finding something that shows a lot of people eating healthy foods..., the children will be interested in the story and start pointing to things, and the more mature children will mimic the behaviors of the people in the book.
