YES it's WAY less stressful than nursing. I am surprised that people think any part of being a nurse is easy. Having an office job is so much easier, however it's incredibly boring. The only stress I ever felt from being a biller was that my boss was a jerk and they wanted billing to come before pt's needs, which is a bunch of crap. Anyway, I have a clinical job (Respiratory) now and you couldn't pay me to ever go back to billing. I hated it, but I understand you have to do what you can because of the family situation. So to answer your question, no it's not stressful. Very rarely.
