I'm trying to choose a career and was wondering if there is a complete list of careers for the US?

We Answered:

Occupational Outlook is probably at your library - see the reference desk librarian. Published by the federal govt. It is so huge that you cannot possibly finish reading it by the time they issue the next update, but it is the most comprehensive guide to careers and career outlooks in the US. Also check online to see what govt publications are available online (google! if you do not know how, learn, since doing research and internet search is becoming a vital job skill practically everywhere as well as essential to get into college, no less succeed there).

If you are so severely at a loss regarding career interests and plans, see a psychologist or career counselor who specializes in vocational testing and counseling.
