can anybody tell me what are the various career options in the field of biology after completing hr.sec? We Answered:
The thing that most people think of is either teaching biology or going into medicine. You could also consider going into molecular/cellular biology, ecology, conservation, botany, genetics, evolutionary biology, entomology, etc.Your sister may want to talk with her professors about various fields. Going to graduate school will definitely be something to consider, especially if she wants to do something more than being a lab technician or teaching high school biology.

Career Options?We Answered:
I have a niece who lives in the LA, California area. Shes makes very good money but works long shifts and yes she says it is really hard and stressful work. The doctors takes all the credit and makes the most money. The nurses are the ones that takes care of the patients not the doctors.Personally I would take an interest test to find out what areas that you like. Many people including myself would like to change careers because we are burned out. I have been in the eye business for over 40 years and I dread having to look for something else. I am interested in helping others. There are many areas that you Can do this but you have to find out what is best for you. Get a degree in several areas so that you will be able to change if you are dissatisfied with one like I am.

i am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field...?We Answered:
If you want to get into the medical field without having to give shots, etc then try Medical Billing/Coding. You still get to work in the medical field, without the physical stuff. There are many career colleges that offer these programs. If you have a Lincoln Tech, Gibbs, etc around your area check into them. There hours can be during the day or at night.I'm currently enrolled in a career college studying to become a medical assistant and I love it! :-) Its very beneficial!
Good luck!

A few questions about RN, Pre-med,med school, and Medical Careers options? We Answered:
If you can afford to go to school for up to six years, consider either pharmacy school or physical therapy school. Physical therapists now go directly through a PhD program, bypassing the BS degree. It's difficult to get into a program and there is often a wait of a couple of years, but you should check out the requirements and take appropriate courses in college. It's a great field to get into and pays very well. You can become a pharmacist within about 5-6 years, depending up the degree. Obviously, achieving a PharmD would be best as you would earn the most and be eligible for some very interesting jobs.
If you want to become an RN, you can get your BSN and then later specialize as a Nurse Practioner. You can also go to Nurse Anesthetist school, which takes about two more years. The average pay is well over 100K a year, which is comparable to what some physicians make.

What career options are available for me?We Answered:
I think if you want a career in the medical field, volunteering at the hospital/looking for an internship in the medical field is definitely a good start.Don't try and decide your entire future just yet. I know it's tempting, but there's still so many things for you to explore. I'm sure who you want to be when you grow up will change many times before you finally pick something.
But for now, explore through volunteering and internships. Go to your school's college office and look at the books they have available.

What are various career paths in the area of pathology? We Answered:
Under the MD in the lab are research techs, med techs (clinical lab scientists), histo techs, cytologists, autopsy assistants, etc. These are all 1 year training programs after a BS & earn around 50K or a bit more or less. You do not need a masters for all but the research associates.
