Naomi Said:

Fastest growing careers outside of the medical field?

We Answered:

Information technology or anything having to do with computer science. It's a growing field and it pays well. You should also double it with Spanish, as it will open many doors for you. Good luck!

Elmer Said:

what are some good careers in the medical field?

We Answered:

Well there are the certificate programs which are usually two years or less and they are a growing job market: Surgical tech, Phlebotomy, Rodialogy tech. Then you can get into the two to four yr nursing programs but this means you'll have to wipe butts and clean blood and stuff, it all depends on what you would like to do.

Are there any Pharmacy careers in the field of Medical Cannabis?

No. If you do that, you'll loose your license. Pharmacies are not licensed to deal with C-1 drugs. Pharmacies have C-2 through C-5 license.

Daniel Said:

careers in the medical field but i dont have years to spend in school?

We Answered:

Respiratory therapy, radiology tech, RN, dental hygiene are all very good fields to get into. They are 2 year programs and have a lot of benefits once you graduate and pass your board exams. I would skip becoming a CNA or medical assistant and even an LPN because these fields aren't as lucrative. An LPN can do alright but they do almost all the same things an RN does with a lot less pay. If you are willing to work in a major city and pull in some overtime you can make really great wages. I know RN's making over $100,000/year in critical care and resp therapists making $70,000/year with overtime. These careers are in high demand. Dental hygiene is another great field with really good wages. Job shadow some of these jobs and see what you like. Look into the community colleges in your area to see what programs are offered and start taking some of the prerequisite courses. Good luck!
