Jonathan Said:
Anyone know if I can earn a Medical Billing Degree of any kind and what they get paid a year?We Answered:
Billing is such a pain the ***.Coders make over $20 and sometimes work at home.
Transcriptionists make over $20 and can sometimes work at home.
But that also depends on what company you work with.
Kaiser Permanente pays well. Go on-line and check out the job ops....Good benefits too.
Good luck!

USAF OTS Medical Degree?We Answered:
Doctors and nurses don't go to OTS. Scary but true...they go to COT...its only two weeks long and its basically to tell you how to differientiate between the ranks, wear the uniform properly, salute, etc.You need to contact a health professions recruiter....look in the blue pages of your phone book.

Would ROTC hurt my plans for a medical degree? We Answered:
If Army ROTC operates like Air Force ROTC regarding medical school; we have two options. 1) You can go to the one of your choosing., as long as its accredited. We pay for the school - we don't pay you. 2) You go to our school USHUS (U-shoes) and we pay for the school and we also pay you LT pay while you go. Your job is to go to school. I'll have to check but I think you receive benefits while you are there. I'll look it up tomorrow and repost.EDIT: I'm not sure I made this clear: You attend ROTC while an undergrad: after you graduate, you go onto medical school, you no longer attend ROTC classes.
