The reason I want to become a nurse is because a nurse changed my life personally. Once my mother was very sick and was admitted to the hospital. And there was this nurse who would take the time and come and talk to my mother.

She would hold my mother's hand and stroke her hair. This nurse was the epitome of what Florence Nightingale stood for. She emanated compassion and warmth.

I wanted to be like her! :o)

So, I would not do it for the money. I want to help somebody else to get better and make an impact in that person's life, like that nurse did to me and my mom that day....

You could be a dental assistant right now. That would be the fastest. Best is Physician Assistant. I gather that you want to be involved in patient care. That's reading between the lines.
