I am interested in a "fast track" medical assistant school, (Everest Institute), has anyone ever been to one?We Answered:
I have been in a fast track medical school in California but it was so superficial that I moved myself to a nice University with a complete course. No god feelings about fast track.Regards!

best career choice ?We Answered:
I think medical assisting better then dental assistant because people pay for medical most. They don't care more about dental assistant but it's very important.Well you should think which one is interesting study for you.

Medical Assisting--good or bad career choice? We Answered:
Look into "The Business of Higher Education" before you resign yourself to a life of debt. I saw a documentary that exposed the horrible circumstances students were getting into when they attempted to become nurses, for instance. The school counselor led them to believe they would be making $25/hr when they graduated. However, their school's education never took them to a hospital. They were thousands of dollars in debt with student loans, which were financially crippling and the only jobs they got were as $10-13 medical assistants. What does that say for you? You aren't educated yet. These overly qualified nursing students are getting the job you want. And of course they would be the more desirable applicant with whatever education they did receive.Get yourself started on a more likely path to success. Save up to pay for junior college classes in required classes while you live and learn. You will most likely change your mind many times on your road to a career. Look up Zac Bissonnette's "Debt-Free U: How I Paid for an Outstanding College Education Without Loans, Scholarships, or Mooching off My Parents". I hope you have a successful life.

A tough decision?We Answered:
While you think of this as abandoning years of planning, see if this is accurate:I middle school, you were attracted to/interested in science. Just about all young people know about a career in the sciences is either engineering or medicine, because that's what they hear about the most.
When it comes to a career in medicine, most young people think "doctor" -- lately, with newer TV shows, they also think forensic science.
My guess is that you went with doctor without ever really knowing about or considering marine biology.
When I was in middle school, I decided on English Literature as a college major. But in my sophomore year of college, I discovered comparative literatures and linguistics -- two fields of study that I hadn't even known existed.
It could be that your plan to become a doctor kept you in the sciences, and that led you to marine biology.
If you think you have a passion for MB, follow your interest in it. If you are truly torn, see someone in the career counseling department to see if you can major in marine bio and at the same time keep your options open for medical school.
Either way, best of luck -- may you find work you love and the courage to pursue your dream!

radiology career?We Answered:
The population is getting older and will always need our services. I'm not sure what you mean by radiology therapist, but radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, and sonography make a lot more money than a radiologic technologist.
