Recommended high-paying careers, possibly in medicine, or another scientific/mathematical field?

We Answered:

i was kind of in the same boat as you. in fact, when i was considering the medical path, i too was wanting to study radiology!! and i didnt for the exact reasons that you dont want to: takes far too long to get into that profession. engineering is a great path to take. you can start off making 60k a year straight out of college with a 4 year degree!!!! not bad. pair that with an MBA (you can even get this while working, and lots of companies pay for tuition!) and you can easily top 100k a year. since youre good at math and science, school shouldnt be too difficult for you, giving you plenty of time to have a life. my entire moms side of the family are all doctors... and from their stories they tell... well, you pretty much have the idea. and they have all confirmed that it was a lot of time spent.... however, now their rich and living their dreams in million dollar mansions.
