What you took in high school really doesn't matter. If you do poorly in college classes, you have only yourself to blame - you might just have to work a bit harder than some other people. Calculus is important for anyone who measures changing rates in time. That includes doctors.

For the factual questions, use the keywords as a Google search (ex: financial issues in health care delivery; downsides of a career in medicine, etc.). Read what you find, take notes, think about what makes sense to you. Then ask your favorite science teacher for feedback.

What the hell? Honestly you're a saint for dealing with this thing. I can't call her a woman because clearly she lacks every factor of being one. The first thing that i'd do would videotape her, it seems stupid but when you videotape someone doing something embaressing sometimes they just have to watch and and realize how stupid they are/have been. Videotape her spazzing like a child and everything else she does OR show it to the family/boyfriend. OR break them up. Honestly your future brother in law is dealing with a load of trash and he doesn't deserve it. But just remember it sounds to me like this chick is JEALOUS of what you have and what she doesn't. The family must adore you and think of you as God's gift since the other one is satans devil. Obviously she's immature and it'll take someone huge to snap her out of it. The family may be ignoring it or hoping to God that he dumps her, because the more you tell your brother in law ditch her, the more he'll love her out of spite from everyone else. So i suggestion: patients, as hard as it sounds it'll pay off. Also: Karma.
