Jobs In Health

Luis Said:

In terms of education, meaningful jobs, health care and infrastructure, how do we stack up vs the world ?

We Answered:

From the end of WW2 up until the late 1970s to early 1980s, America had more people moving into the middle class than at any other time in our history. It took Reagan, Bush Sr. and current President Bush all of 2 terms each to dismantle that progress. After Reagan took office and started the movement to bust labor unions and deregulate certain industries, our country has steadily been on the decline.

In 1980, Jimmy Caner's last year as president, the federal government spent a whopping 27.9% of "national income" (an obnoxious term for the private wealth produced by the American people). Reagan assaulted the free-spending Carter administration throughout his campaign in 1980. So how did the Reagan administration do? At the end of the first quarter of 1988, federal spending accounted for 28.7% of "national income.

Despite what some may believe, Presidents Ford and Carter did more to cut government spending than Reagan ever did. The only thing Reagan did was redirect the money to his "friends" !

Virgil Said:

is it patriotic to sit there and watch your country decline in real estate, jobs ,health and major crisis?

We Answered:

It is so unpatriotic to support a candidate that you know is a traitor and a hater and will do nothing but destroy your country like your favorite Obama.

Edgar Said:

What jobs in health care/criminal require no college/university degree?

We Answered:

The main jobs in the medical field that you can get without a degree is to be a medical receptionist or secretary. The same thing goes for the criminal field. Have you thought about getting your CNA or becoming a nursing assistant. Sometimes these jobs require a few classes, not an entire degree.

Billy Said:

What are easy paying health jobs that pay great?

We Answered:

A nursing degree (ADN) is a retty short program. You are not going to find much that is shorter and pays so well.

You can become an X-Ray technician, a respiratory therapist, an ultrasound tech, etc. But most are 2 year programs.

If I were you I would go for a full BSN (4 year) and become an RN with a BSN. Many hospitals are only hiring those with higher degrees these days. Not sure how old you are, but if you are young then there is no rush. Four years is not going to make a big difference in your life but could really boost your career.

I am 41 and spent 4 years doing my first 60 hours and just got into a BSN program. I will be finished next May!!!! I wish I had done it 20 years ago!

Edith Said:

Why is health care being focused on more than jobs?

We Answered:

I agree

Fred Said:

What medical/health jobs can I get with a Bachelor's degree?

We Answered:

You could be an occupational, speech or a physical therapist. They all make very good money and have all kinds of employment opportunities. You could also look into being a lab tech or perhaps a pharmacist.
