I am an LMT, licensed massage therapist. I work at a hospital assisting a physical therapist. In both physical and massage there are no needles. I enjoy the work and its not like working in an ER where all hell goes on as I have just found out. I am in training to become an EMT. I had the same fear as you about sticking some one. Its something you get over really fast. If seeing blood is the problem that's a different story but the fear of sticking in a needle is easy to get over. Starting an IV is now second nature to me and does not bother me one bit like it use to.Judith Said:

Dialysis Technician is a pretty good field to pursue. But you have to becoma Certified Nursing Aid or Medical Assistant first before the hospitals will train you in this field. My aunt was a cna and now she is working as a dialysis technician and she makes around $40,000 a year. Some vocational schools offer dialysis tech program, but mainly the hospitals will train you for this position. Also you do not need to have any prerequisites for this field.
