Medical And Health Careers

Ida Said:

What do you think is the BEST medical/health care career?

We Answered:

I went to school to become a sonographer for a long time....it's very boring and monday through friday kind of thing. It was too boring for me, but you might love it, it just depends on your personality. Honestly, if you actually think you might be smart enough to be a doctor then you need to be. Being a doctor is probably harder than being a nuclear engineer. Becoming an RN is horribly difficult. School is hard. When I was in school for sonography I had to take some classes that I studied and went to tutoring for and STILL only got a C on tests. Yes, it's just that hard. Anyway, if you are smart enough to become a doctor go Anesthesia all the way. LOTS of money and nothing too difficult, like diagnosing patients, etc. Sonographers make about $60k here in the midwest. Good luck!

Have you ever looked into Respiratory Therapy? It's a 4 year degree but VERY exciting. I love it. I wouldn't give it up for the whole world.
