Which career is better a Medical Assistant or a Teacher Assistant?

We Answered:

With the medical assistant field, unfortunately, there aren't supposed to be too many jobs (or for the medical biller or coder) despite what those private $$ tech schools proclaim. The numerous training program available have left the field saturated.

If you enjoy working with the children, perhaps consider the CDA certificate. It's ultimately your decision but one can think of that ol' saying 'if you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life' :)

With schooling, please steer clear of those online, for-profit schools (may have 'bricks and mortar' buildings and may be 'accredited') such as penn foster, capella, university of phoenix, stratford career, devry, kaplan, US career, everest, ashworth, stratford career, ashford, ITT tech, career step, sanford brown, argosy, remington and others as they are merely out to 'make a profit' (and course credits may Not transfer): http://www.ripoffreport.com and can type into search.

For US colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ

General career information: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can type into search 'teacher assistants' or whatever other career that piques one's interest.

I currently work at Nordstroms at the Clinique Cosmetic Counter.?

medical/dental assistant! think about your life in 20 years.... people with medical (or dental) skills are going to be in high demand because there's a massive shortage here in the USA. don't you want a career with limitless possibilities and a career that you can look back on and think, "i made a difference".
besides the money is much better as an assistant.
definitely reach for something that requires a degree or certification, that way you have a leg up on the competition.

and if you can, consider becoming a nurse. lots of money to be made and you can get a job nearly anywhere in the USA because they're in such high demand.
good luck.
