Medical Assistant School

Susan Said:

What do I need to know about going to medical assistant school?

We Answered:

Woah! That is a broad question so I wont go into the specifics here as it might take a while!

My advice to you is to go to a website that already has this infomation on it. Shouldnt be too hard as I have already had a quick look and came across a few.

Try http://www.medicalassistantschool-daily.…

Plenty of information there that should answer any questions you may have and probably a few more.

Good luck.

Im already a medical assistant school i go back and get associate degree in medical assistant?

We Answered:

Why would you want to go back to school for 2 years to learn what you already are???? Your job would still be the same as would your salary. Go get the RN, if you want to further your education.

I recently graduated from a medical assistant school, I need a job. How can I find one?

We Answered:

A friend of mine just completed the MA program at my school & is having the same problem. She says the college placed her in a position that led to nowhere. I suggested to go to an employment agency that specializes in health care. She found a temp. position in weeks. Time will tell if it works though...

Pedro Said:

Is medical assistant school worth my money?

We Answered:

My best Friend took that course at the Everest University in Pittsburgh. She said it was a total waste of money and she's still paying for the school loans. MA's only make $10-$12 per hour. I am a CNA and I went through a course that paid for my classes. Right now I work through an agency and make any where from $11-$16 dollars an hour depending on what facility I work at. I am also currently a full-time student in a nursing program (RN) through a hospital. They pay for your tuition and you just buy your uniforms and books. Hospitals everywhere offer this type of program, but after you graduate you usually have to work for their company/corporation for a certain length of time. I know your in Florida, but check out www.Shadysideschoolofnursing.com to get a better idea of what I mean. After that I suggest looking for programs like that in your area. They are everywhere!
