Yes this is a good job to have, but if you're wanting something that has a lot of patient care involvement, this would not be a good career for you. A job like a unit nursing clerk would be better if you're wanting to have some more involvement in this area.

I would advise you to look into training classes at academic colleges. That is what I did. I went to a business/technical school and now I work in the billing/coding profession. It took me a total of about 9 months to finish my courses. I wouldn't think having a felony would be a problem as long as it has been a few years without any charges. Although I am not the one going to be hiring you and everyone feels different. Annual income is going to vary depending on the city you live in and the cost of living. Like CA is going to pay more than TN is going to pay.
