I want to be a doctor so I am volunteering in a nursing home and hospital to get some experience. This way I can see whats going on and if i like the career. Start by looking up your local community college (CC) online. CC's are cheap ways to take college course and train for a career, and nursing careers are some of the most frequent career paths that CC's offer. Look for the college's list of certificates and degree programs and see if one matches what you want. If not, try calling the dean or department chair of a similar program and talking to him or her, and they may be able to recommend a better course of action. Good luck!
