I think some men and women are interested in attracting wealthy partners, but I am a cynic, and think that ppl usually are attracted to those they meet-and not many ppl hang out with the rich and powerful, other than those who are also rich. I grew up in rural areas, met a guy I married who I thought was intelligent and honest, and found out he lied to "get me" and actually was obsessed with wealth and status. Unfortunately, his career tanked while mine soared, and he became more and more resentful and jealous of my "success".

I finally left and looked for someone who was down-to-earth, but ended up with someone who was, but once finances improved a bit, they wanted to keep up with the Jones's, which I again, wasn't into. I've finally met someone who grew up poor like I did, and isn't obsessed with status or money. I appreciate the value of money and having some things, don't get me wrong, but I could live without them, and my life does not revolve around them. I know plenty of women and men like me, not all Americans are greedy and self-centered.

I don't recommend it. I've been on the receiving end of a cougar's bite three times in my life and it has developed into nothing but needless horror. I'm 25. When I was 21 I was with a 40 year-old and when I was 24 I was with a 35 year-old. I won't even go into the third one. The aforementioned is just this male's opinion. My opinion is that if they are in their mid 30's or in their 40's and they are going after men that much younger, then they are single because of their own problems (i.e.: mentally unstable, etc.). Cougar's are just trying to establish dominance and take advantage. Nothing more. I'm sorry for my cynicism but that is just how I feel based on my experience. It's usually temporary, at least for me. Take care!

Well i think you should do it. But I know your wife is going to be really tired rasing a baby thrn going to work! Well you will not see then that much!. But that will be a good thing for yall. And plus time will fly by so quick!....well good luck to you!

If it is something that bothers you that much then I feel like it will always bother you. Just cause he doesn't like to read at all and doesn't value education doesn't make him dumb. If you care enough about him to get past it then I would say work through it. But don't waste yours or his time if you know that it will always bother you.

Nursing is a fine profession for a man and more men should consider it. Nursing is a rewarding career and a good opportunity if you enjoy making a difference in the life of others.
