If your dealing with Medical Personnel it would be best to know their language. I have a Degree in Biomedical Electronics, work on Hospital Equipment. It just like working on a Computer or any other electronics/Mechanical Devise. But, I had to not only learn their Terminology, I also, had to learn Anatomy & Physiology.
Here a simple example and you may already know this; Say you talking to someone at the hospital and they tell you; "We need that form 'Stat' "! Do you understand?
I wanted to give you one more, this fun; "I left the papers for you on the "Crashcart" by the "Defibulator"! ;-)

System Analyst. Many do IT work to Support network and system( billing, records) running, maintenance. There are over 100 IT workers in our Hospital, starting salary $65K, most make $90K.
