OTA (occupational therapy assistant) are usually used within normal business hours.To be an assistant you only need an associates degree, so approx 2 years.
I have never encountered OTA's to be on call, so I am going to say probably no on call.
And my other idea would be massage therapist. Schooling varies (approx 2 years for an associates, but there are also technical schools that offer the certificate). No on call, and you make your on hours if you work for yourself. Pay is good, but it is a difficult field to break into.
