Medical Esthetician Career
Steven Said:
Is a career as a Massage Therapist a good choice? We Answered:
Honestly, Being a massage therapist myself.yes & no..
It all depends on the location. population & how needed it is.
Most massage therapist that do not have a clientele built up
have to search for a part time job. The Pay is also based on
location. Working at a Day Spa or any other Salon will most
likely do Commission with you. You can Rent out your own
place at a spa but you'll need some clientele. Its a Hit or Miss.
Canada Would make 10x times more than the USA.
hope this helps & hope you enjoying living here

Medical/ Clinical Esthetician?We Answered:
You would probably need to go through both the esthetics program as well as the medical assistant program. Both of these will give you the tools necessary for this field.Brian Said:
can medical assistants preform all injections including botox in arizona? We Answered:
In Maryland & California, MAs can not do botox or fillers. Being familiar with MA scope of practice & the fact they are unlicensed, I suspect MAs are not allowed to do botox & fillers.Bertha Said:
Should I choose a new career?We Answered:
You seem very motivated. I love my esthetician,i would die without her. If you want to get into like doin chemical peels, and plastic surgery that would be great for you. YOu have all this experience and that can carry with you through a medical career. You should pursue expanding what you do now. If you want to help people why not. People will always need some help with their skin so its a great career. Going on to a medical career is not walking away from your need to help people. The medical field is enormous. My husband is a orthopedic surgeon and he is in high demand. Hes now 34 and he has a great practice, but it has taken him a while to get where he is ,but he is very happy and has no regrets. Don't follow your dreams sweetie chase them, life is too short.Catherine Said:
Of the three, which is a better career choice? We Answered:
I would go with x-ray tech or pharmacy tech. If you do not want to go any further with education and this is you rend goal, then go with x-ray, it pays better and you get to see some cool x-rays every once in awhile to keep it interesting. If this is a stepping stone career and you want to get a degree in something else, go with pharmacy technician. Knowing your medications for careers as a pharmacist, doctor, or nurse will be very helpful. If you go with pharmacy technician, check out http://www.pharmacytechnicianhq.com/ to see how to become a pharmacy technician, best of luck.
