Angela Said:

what associates degree, besides health care and medical, will get you a job Without getting a bachelor's?

We Answered:

don't get too picky, there isnt much you can do with an associate degree. and yes, some of the entry level jobs requiring bachelor degrees pay pathetic amounts - thats because too many people are doing uni education, and thats why theres sh*t all you can do with an associate degree - everyone else is more qualified

honestly, you would be better off doing a trade, but if you don't want to, then health care is pretty much the only field you will get a job with an associates degree

if you do environmental science you might (possibly) be able to get a job as a lab technician, but it would mostly be cleaning up and dumping dirt into a container, then pressing some buttons so someone else can tell the owner of the dirt if they have oil there, etc.

Why does the government think it is their job to license medical doctors?

We Answered:

Well, ya, the government is corrupt.

Licensing doctors may seem like a good idea, but its not, it just hurts patients, corrupt doctors still exist, so where is the so-called protection?

I heard stories about doctors coming from foreign nations like Mexico, peru and others that werent able to practice medicine in america because they needed a "license" We would have many more good doctors availaible that could treat people at low costs if it wasnt for the government. The government claims to protect us, but it doesnt, it only cares about itself.

Wendy Said:

Can I still get a job in the medical field with an expunged domestic violence misdemeanor?

We Answered:

expunged does not mean erased it will always be there, certain professions will always be able to see your entire history, such as the medical profession, school system, legal system, etc

Another job for medical doctors in OZ?

We Answered:

G'day,

I am an immigrant and have been living in Melbourne for 16yrs. I can understand your frustration and helpless feeling. Unfortunately writing skill is not something that easily improved while living in your home country and without intensive course.

Just an idea: Apply for an English course in Australia. Some English school academics feel that IELTS band scores can be improved with intensive English study between 5 to 10 weeks. Of course this has to be done in university English college, where they can provide you with the English course specially developed to help Masters or PhD students to improve their English, including writing.

Another thing is, before you are applying, e-mail the English school and ask how many students do they have that come from your home country. This is important (in my opinion) b'cos if you still mix with your fellow countrymen/women in the English school, your English will not improve alot, and this will be a waste of money. I am suggesting the universities in the countryside.

There are only 41 universities in Australia, all of them are fully accredited and tightly controlled, so the quality and recognition is the same from every uni. Just visit www.idp.edu.au. IDP is an organisation that gives info to international students to study in Australia.

Hope this helps. Good luck and welcome to Australia :)

Clarence Said:

where can i find papers or documentation from the nj state labor board to protect my job from my medical issue

We Answered:

Here is the website where you may find the information you need:
http://www.nj.gov/labor/mainpages/disabl…

Sorry I can't be more specific on the site, but I'm not sure I know exactly what documentation you are talking about. I would rather give you the general site than the wrong one.
