Medical workers in Canada are frequently given the short end of the deal. They are allowed to emigrate to that country, but then the medical association says they cannot work because their skills are not at Canadian levels.

Unless you are willing to do more training in a Canadian school, I strongly suggest you do not come to Canada. Most doctors here end up being call center agents, security guards and taxi drivers. I have known several foreign doctors doing these jobs.

If you are still willing to deal with the bureacracy then here is the initial immgration qualifications details. You must qualify first before you can emigrate.

dont count on getting a temporary work permit, you wont be able to get anything more than a medical assistant (or an orderly) in a hospital - rather than a doctors job - for the same reasons.

Skilled worker details.

You need to have at least 1 years work experience in your chosen field before you can apply. 4 years is better - gives you more points.

They will probably do the complete exam: from head to toe - including drug screening.

Weight, blood pressure, medical history, allergies, whatever the drs. usually require. OR whatever guideline the laws the province and Canada have.

They only way you'll really find out is to call a dr.'s office and speak w2ith someone or call the medical board or go the Canada's web site and check the rules and regs for the provice and country.
