Most of the careers you are hoping to do require hands on education. It is very doubtful you can complete a degree fully online with the type of career you hope to have.

However, I would suggest you look into child life specialist. It is a career that helps children cope with hospitalizations and adaptation to chronic illnesses.

It is usually a bachelor's level program, however, those with degrees in psychology, or education or child development may also qualify for a position. Considering that, you can probably complete a large portion of your classes online (namely, many pscyhology and development classes); however, you will eventually need to complete appropriate internships and hands on experience in a live setting.

Remember that most online settings have a limited scope of what they can offer. Most are only certificate programs...very few degrees are offered fully online, and usually only require declaritive types of memory. Health care requires a lot of personal interaction and live pscyhomotor skills. This requires a live educational setting. Good luck, however.

counselors and social workers are professions that vary pretty widely, and there is a great deal of overlap, especially at the masters-level. Honestly, a licensed clinical social worker would probably make you the most competitive in terms of entering the field. It depends largely on the role you want to have in that setting.
