Hmm...I'm looking also into taking a Medical coding and billing course. I heard the best one is in Jamaica Queens, Roxbury Institute. They don't advertise..Its just word of mouth. I attend Medgar Evers but I intend to transfer to another college to futher my education. The only prob with the school in Jamaica is that you have to pay out of pocket. $50 a week from now until Nov, plus a $100 regisration fee ---> Total equal almost $2700. The class runs once a week.Anyone can go to a Medical coding and billing training. But I hear this guy Frank at the Roxbury Institue is the best because he prepares you to take the Exam to be certified. Once potential employers see that you have passed this exam, I'm sure you will get hired. Other classes at other schools are not indepth like Frank's class. This is all hearsay, but I plan to attend his course.
