Alternative Medicine For Arthritis

Melanie Said:

Alternative medicines for arthritis?

We Answered:

Glucosamin and chondroitin sulphate are commonly prescribed to help relieve arthritis pain and rebuild cartilage. Problem is it takes months to start working and wont do a thing if the biomechanics of the body are off and not allowing cartilage to be rebuilt. I suggest you check out Pete Ogoscue's books Health through motion and Pain Free. Fish oil (Omega 3 fatty acids) help decrease inflammation in the body thereby decreasing pain..they should be taken daily as a supplement along with a anti-inflammatory diet that is limited in red meats and simple sugars(white bread, cakes, etc...).

Any alternative medicines therapies for arthritis?

We Answered:

Try acupuncture, using thin electronic needles, or electrostimulation, or hypnotherapy, & if you have the op, go to a place where they use a computerised router. See a pain clinic, too.
