You have done all the right things.

My advice, as a college counselor, is to stay active in activities that are directly related to your future career and network. I did it throughout my college years and it made it so much easier to get my career going.

Work on your para-professional rep by being the best you can be as a person and a pro. Build bridges and avoid burning them... even the bad ones.

THe real questionis, why do want to spend a LOT of money to go to one of these out of state schools when UVermont is just as good (or better) and WAY cheaper. Is your family made of money?

And if you are desperate to get out of state, try checking the New England exchange program where kids from any state in New England get to go to the other NE state universities for in-state tuition, if they choose certain majors.

Check the Princeton Review, it provides basic statistics such as acceptance rates, average SAT's, and you can gauge where you fit in.
