Yes she can still be treated. What kind of doctor is she going to?!
I don’t know why she did not get treatment 4 years ago and of course this is why the disease has progressed to the point it is no longer curable, but she can still survive many years with proper treatment.

Cancer of pancreas is best treated with surgery followed by adjuvant treatment.
Since most are not operable, they are termed palliative and palliative chemotherapy is usually offered.
However Concurrent chemoradiation is is turning out to be the new standard of care esp for the cancers which do not have metastases (but are inoperable due to local infiltration).
So to answer your Qu:
If it is inoperable: Pl get yourself evaluated because concurrent chemoradiation offers a chance that it shall be surgically Operable.
