I get them too, and so does my sister. She buys a product called Azo from the pharmacy area at her drug store, but Wal-Mart or Wal-Greens would have it too. She swears by it. As for me, I take two Tylenol and I drink lots and lots of cranberry juice. To keep it away, I make sure I drink at least 2-3 glasses a week. Seems to help me a lot. Good luck with that.

There is something called D-Mannose. It is a powder and you can get it at a health food/vitamin store. It is a simple sugar and close cousin of glucose, can cure more than 90 percent of all bladder infections within 1 to 2 days. It also doesn't kill the "Good Bacteria" so you don't end up taking antibiotics and then getting a yeast infection.
I tried it and it worked for me and you can take it as a supplement after you get rid of the UTI to prevent them in the future. Also be sure to drink plenty of water and 100% Cranberry juice and nothing else.
If you try my suggestion and it doesn't go away then you need to go see a doctor. You don't want it to get worse and spread to your kidneys then you'll be in some serious pain. However I definitely don't think it hurts to use a homeopathic remedy before you consider antibiotics. Hope you feel better soon. I know how you feel.

if the instructions says not to take if you are pregnant do not take it. also what is good for bladder infections is cranberry juice( sugar free) drink at least 3 glasses a day and that should help you with your bladder infection also drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, i wouldn't take no chances at all.

Yeh I had mastitis (sp.?) early on when I was breastfeeding and had antibiotics that were considered safe to use while breastfeeding. Went on to feed for another 12 months :D Hope you're feeling better soon!
