All are good schools. However, Georgia Tech is the best by a wide margin. It would certainly be the best to go to for pre-medicine.

US News ranks these schools as follows:

Georgia Tech -- #23
Boston University -- #57
Northeastern -- #96
Drexel University -- #108

Since it is so much better, Georgia Tech is the hardest of these schools to get into. However, since it is the only public university on your list. it is a little easier to get into if you are a Georgia resident.

As the least competitive school on the list, Drexel is the easiest to get into.

In terms of the environment -- Boston is a great city -- and a great college town. On the other hand, Atlanta is a great city -- and has mild winters.

Drexel is located a few blocks west of center city Philadelphia. I wouldn't describe it as the nicest area -- but it is right next to Penn, so there will be a lot of college students around.

There is no such thing as a "bad" medical school in the U.S. If so, it would be shut down by now. Really, do you look at where every doctor you visit attended school? People rarely do that until they are looking for someone to perform a life or death surgery.

If you interview at the school, they give you the info on USMLE scores and residency statistics.

Drexel is a top-notch school and has the largest private medical college in the country. It's also very career-focused; if you decide not to become a doctor but instead another medical profession or even to go into biomedical engineering, Drexel will prepare you to get a job.

In terms of prestige, Drexel's up there with the California schools. It's private versus public, and you be far from home which both have financial consequences, but those really shouldn't be your major considerations since Drexel has generous scholarships.

If you're at all interested, I would definitely take a trip out there. Philadelphia is a great place to go to college. There are many kids from California so you won't be the only one from far away.

St Michael's Hospital in Milwaukee WI CLOSED because they had too many illegals coming there for FREE care!

THAT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY.

We used to go to another major hospital called St. Lukes. I cannot TELL you how many times we have had to wait until they find an interpreter for a Mexican family ahead of us. I now COMPLAIN loudly!!! IN AMERICA you should speak ENGLISH AND...you should be here legally.
