European Medicines Agency

Rita Said:

Do you think 0bama has a way around Health Care like this - Vive Le French Care?

We Answered:

Free health care will cause more problems than it will fix. The government in the last 6 months has put us in so much debt that it is impossible to pay back. How in anybody's right mind can they think they can run health care. This is the one buisness that, trust me... You do not want them to run. Let them stick to car companies and mail. Do you want the government to decide whether you live or die? So no there is no way around it and he should burn that bill and forget about it.

Jorge Said:

Penny Said:

Why do people want to be injected by a vaccine which has not been tested and proven safe?

We Answered:

I think you answered your question at the end with your last statement.

That is the only reason people are getting this vaccine because the media has everyone scared out of there mind over this super virus that can't be seen.

Sara Said:

Is this the Democrats goal for health care ,make it like Europe's?

We Answered:

I don't like the idea of the government taking my money from me in taxes for my health care then refusing to treat me when I need it. I would like it even less if I learned that not everyone was treated the same.

The real question is "Would Gordon Brown have received that treatment had he been suffering from the same condition?"

Tastiest Atheist:
I like to work with raw data because it's hard to tell from polished reports what polish is being used and who's doing the polishing. Take breast cancer for example. 1.01 females per 1000 will be diagnosed with breast cancer world wide in 2010 according to raw data from the WHO. Those fortunate enough to live in Great Britian can expect an 80% chance of survival to the five year mark. That's extraordinary since breast cancer is one of the more difficult to catch and treat. Females diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States can expect an 86% chance of survival to the five year mark, a little better than Great Britian, but not much.

How does that work out in numbers? Let's say that the US switched to GB's NHS and employed an actuarial system like NICE.

300,000,000 Americans divided roughly by two for females only.
150,000,000/1000x1.01=153,015 women diagnosed this year
153,015 x 6%=9,181 women who would have lived to the five year mark had we not switched to Great Britian's health care system.

9,181 American females, every year, needlessly and preventably dead. Year in and year out...

Why do people continue to use cell phones/wifi when they emit deadly amounts of radiation?

We Answered:

To answer your initial question, because they've become such an integral part of our lives. We can no longer imagine how to live without cell-phones, and are getting to that same point with wi-fi.

And while we might recognise a risk, it's such a long-term thing that it doesn't really bother most people. The immediate benefits seem to far outweigh the long-term risks.
