What a crock. I'd certainly check with a lawyer, but I don't think that is legal. I live in Florida and would love for someone to tell me that I couldn't run a generator. My mother has medications that have to stay refrigerated. My father has an oxygen machine he breathes at night and as needed during the day. Thankfully, I don't live in that neighborhood, but that ticks me off to think that they'd pull that especially on elderly or those with health concerns all because they don't want to be disturbed by the noise? Maybe the homeowner's association 'rule makers' should move their hoitey toitey behinds to MONTANA or somewhere of the sort. No hurricanes there and I hear it's pretty quiet.
