I need to verify what is primary amyloidosis. http://www.iupui.edu/~amyloid/primary.htm?We Answered:
That's more or less correct. In short primary amylodosis is a metabolic defect which results in abnormal proteins depositing in the various tissues of the body, ie heart, kidneys, brain etc etc.
There are several kinds of amyloidosis, nearly all of them with similar outcome. Wikipedia have a more lucid explanation.
Wish you the very best

Is it a myth that a person should drink 8 glasses of water a day?We Answered:
I think the folks that sell bottled water might have started that. You can get your fluid intake from any liquids you take in and your best judge is whether or not you are thirsty.June Said:
Shia/Sunni Unity...Can we on yahoo at least try?We Answered:
No offense, but this Dr. Athar should stick to writing about medicine.A lot of the doubts and errors he has in this article have been explained and refuted time and time again for the past thousand years.
Honestly, how arrogant is it for somebody to come along after a thousand years worth of scholarship refuting these doubts and suddenly say "well, actually guys, none of that stuff was ever correct and this all stemmed from some huge misunderstanding that up until I was born nobody else in history fully understood."
That he would try to justify things like shirk is just appalling. Calling on the dead is not a small difference. Come on guys.

IMPORTANT DECISION OF MY LIFE! University of Iowa? or Indiana University? We Answered:
Personally I'd pick University of Iowa, but I'm biased since I go there.I can't speak for Indiana, but Iowa is definitely diverse and not racist at all. Plus if you get homesick, about 25% of the student population here is from Illinois, so at least you're not the only one from there.
If you're looking into a field where you can help people, like medicine, we have one of the best medical schools here too.
As far as a good time, we're also one of the top party schools. I don't know where Indiana ranks, but Iowa was #12 in the country last I heard.

How difficult is it to get into any school of veterinary medicine? We Answered:
it is very difficult to get into vet school. there are only like 25 or so in the US and they are very competative. Get good grades, get expereience working or volunteering with a vet, try to get large animal expeierience, research experieince helps. There is a huge lack of food animal vets, so if you want to work with cows or pigs, mention it in your essay. Also get involved with your school's prevet club if they have one. the following website has links to what each school requires.http://aavmc.org/vmcas/college_requireme…
P.S. Purdue is an excellent school
