In 1930, gandhi marched to the sea and made salt. in 1947, the proud people of india won their independence from their imperialist oppressors half a world away. in 17 short years, gandhi "led" the people of india to freedom from a country 1/15 its size with 1/7 the population. 17 short years, preceded by centuries of rule by outsiders. what a proud and glorious time, to "win" freedom from a broken country that was on the verge of being wiped off the map, that was in shambles from the ravages of WWII. the actions of gandhi had a profound impact on india, delaying freedom by years, reinforcing the indian subservient mentality.

if gandhi were alive today, im sure he would fix the problem by the mighty weapon of "fasting" to teach the pharma companies a stern lesson. "if you dont stop what you are doing, i wont eat"

if gandhi were alive today, if india did rid itself of the shackles of abuse and oppression, he would refuse to deal with the aftermath of the problem and allow india to be split into many pieces, resulting in more than a million deaths and the displacement of many million people and the eventual creation of rival nations armed with nuclear weapons, constantly at war, he could add to his legacy greatly.

the way to prosperity and the ability of a nation to take care of itself comes from moving forward and making progress, not moving backwards and spinning your own thread. india is moving forward in some sectors today because of education and progress into the 20th and 21st century. the problem of clinical trials will end when the value of an indian life is more than the price that a pharma company is willing to pay to acquire such information. today, the value of an indian life is lower because of the misguided backward thinking of people like gandhi. it is lower because of overpopulation that comes from arbitrary use of vaccines and inoculations without thinking about the social change that needs to be coupled with it. mostly, it is lower because of centuries of "training" by oppressors to be inferior. it is time to cleanse india and indians of the poison that is this backwards thinking, instead of the artificial cleansing of clinical trials. when the indian nation and people are able to evolve backwards, ironically, to a time when they were proud and forward to a time when they are smart enough to make the right choices, the value of an indian life will be too high for a pharma company to "buy" it for their trials.

the rejection of this "new imperialism" comes not from embracing the "fasting" mentality, it comes from the embracing of the "we'll build automobile factories, aircraft carriers, increase our investment in infrastructure, create pharma companies that create drugs instead of just producing fake knockoffs of western drugs, and becoming part of the modern world" mentality. for today, we do not ban clinical trials and cower away from reality, we run as fast as we can and apply our resources to fighting our true oppressor, our own weak minds.

I just read the article, and followed the links to the actual reports of adverse events to read some of them, too.

Case reports such as these should be taken with a grain of salt, unless examined in a broader, epidemiologic sense. There is a faulty line of logic that is known by the Latin phrase, "Post hoc, ergo propter hoc," which literally means, "After the fact, therefore because of the fact." Basically, it suggests that when one event (like the Gardasil vaccine) precedes another event (like a blood clot or death), the first event must have caused the second event. If only life were so simple! Unfortunately, I've treated a lot of patients for blood clots (one even died); not one of them had ever received the Gardasil vaccine, and several did not have a clear-cut cause for the clot. I imagine that if any of them had just gotten Gardasil, then the vaccine would have been blamed.

Remember how many people claimed they had gotten (and even received lawsuit payouts because of) diseases from their breast implants? In the end, it came out that the chances of developing those diseases was no greater for women who had gotten the implants than for those who hadn't. I give that example not to say that Gardasil did not cause the deaths cited in the report. I am only saying that it would be unwise to leap to that conclusion based on a handful of case reports out of millions of doses given.

Even WORSE than no substance---a sucking VACCUUM that swallows substance and reduces to a less-than-zero devoid of all meaning through outlets such as Faux and its affiliates or BreitBRAT and his lying theocratic-coup-intending ilk. She is the woman who told her constituents to NOT return the Census forms---she claimed they were an Obama "plot" to identify dissenters and "round them all up" in the mythical "FEMA camps" pushed by her fellow DELUSIONAL conspiracy propagators.
