Alternative Medicine: If you believe in one do you believe them all?We Answered:
There is probably a small percentage that believes in only a few alternative treatment methods because they mistakenly believe them to be backed up by scientific evidence.Danielle Said:

Can traditional Chinese/eastern medicine heal any kind of disesase? We Answered:
I like Traditional chinese medicine. It has helped me with several health issues and i believe that this is something that you should definately continue to look into deeply.I personally believe that there is a cure for every disease that afflicts mankind-we just have'nt found out about it yet, but it exists. And some things that we are well aware of that can help us improve our health and well-being, such as Chinese herbalism. You know the saying "Seek and you shall find."Well Traditional Chinese Medicine teaches that we should nurture and protect the "Three Treasures" called; Jing, Qi, and Shen.
Jing-which is our primal power- it determines our fundamental life force and how long we live.
Qi-is our day to day vitality and our protective energy-it determines how we adapt to the world around us and how well we function.
Shen-is our spirit-we know it as our state of psychological well-being and our spiritual experience.
When we nuture and protect these three we assure ourselves health, happiness and a long life.

Did the Quackwatch guy Kalos Orisate finally got suspended ?We Answered:
Well, when he started actually bad mouthing people that used Yahoo Answers to ask questions on alternative medicine it was just a matter of time. Ya can't insult the main entity and get away with it for long. LOL You can only rant for so long before the points stack up against you. Ranting and chatting is a violation and so is not answering a question and still posting to it. Thank God (literally) that he's gone. He gave me a headache!Hilda Said:
What are good alternative medicine websites? We Answered:
Here is a list of some herbs and their healing properties:http://www.linsdomain.com/herbs.htm
Or if you want to look up a specific property such as antibiotic and find examples of antibiotic herbs this website is quite useful:
http://www.holisticonline.com/Herbal-Med…
Or on the same website you can search for herbs alphabetically:
http://www.holisticonline.com/Herbal-Med…
Herbs: medicinal uses and herb pictures:

The Rain-Tree website is a great one for rain forest herbs. It has an extensive database and each herb is well researched with links and covers more of the science if you are interested :http://www.rain-tree.com/plist.htm
For articles on Alternative Medicine:
http://www.worldwidehealth.com/
For short articles on basic ailments:
http://www.emedicinehealth.com/script/ma…
For articles on any topic of interest, search this database:
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0…
If you want real science abstracts:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez…
Real science abstracts specifically relating to Complementary/Alternative Medicine:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez…
If you type "altern med rev" into the above link it will come up with a list of the Excellent Alternative Medicine Review articles. You can use the pull-down list next to 'Display' to view the abstracts. Not all have abstracts but this will give you a more detailed list. Or you can view the full article because these articles are free to view by the public and they are usually an excellent read. They are quite scientific but not ott on science compared to many other articles on the PubMed website in case you haven't got a science background. I do highly recommend these reviews if you are keen to get more in depth knowledge on certain topics.
Just for fun: here is a list of some herbs and flowers and their meanings:

Hope this helps and have fun learning :).
Best wishes.
