I would suggest cleaning it after every time. Be thorough in cleaning it...it's important to keep your baby safe! Also, in case one of you needs to use the dropper to take medicine yourself, you wouldn't want to develop any sort of infection from the bacteria that would grow from left-over saliva. Better safe than sorry! Take turns cleaning the dropper...or try using a dishwasher!

Even an open cup is ok, done carefully and slowly a baby can drink from a regular cup (small dixie type).

make sure to keep nursing A LOT at home to make up the difference... there is a thing called "reverse cycling" where mom/baby cosleep and baby nurses through the night so by the end of a 24 hour period, baby has gotten his/her calorie requirement... just not on a traditional "schedule"- this is equally as healthy. read details on that here: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/normal/revers…

Yes, that's a full dropper in the morning and a full dropper again in the evening. Try to do it 12 hours apart. For example 7:00AM and again at 7:00PM. Don't feel silly, it's a good question. Your friend should have waited until he could go over this stuff with you. He's really asking a lot of you, you're a good friend for doing this.

Who is your vet? I think in this case you need to get a second opinion. It is never a good idea to take the kittens from the mom this young unless she doesn't have the milk, not feeding them, or her milk is bad.
Where is the wound on the momcat? Maybe you need to let the kittens nurse her one at a time so that is easier on the momcat.
