Burns can be very tricky and they really do need to be seen by a doctor to check how bad they are.

Putting ice onto your burn can help reduce swelling but as I said getting it checked by a doctor or nurse would really be a good idea to make sure it's nothing nasty.

The oinement will appear to eat at the skin. Because it is trying to kill the virus , which unfortunately lives in the layers of skin. Warts have roots that embed themselves so they are definately hard to get rid of. Usually the virus is picked up from touching something that has the virus on it and if at that time your immune system is low , it will plant itself in the skin. I would try to use the ointment on all the other places but the face. I can see where that could cause some problems. But it would need to be somehow applied but by trying not to get it on any other area but the lump of the wart. Also a CHEAP and less painful way... BUT takes ALOT LONGER , is simply ducttape. Applying the tape to the areas for 1. suffocates the wart and 2. The adhesive has a low ammount of salic acid ( same acid that you apply to warts from the bottle) on it that aid in the removal of the wart. Remember to remove any skin that has died so when you apply the oitment or tape it is being applied to the freshest part of the infection , not haivng to fight thru layers of already dead skin.

I think with any state school, they always give the nod to state residents. I know that there are areas of our state that are considered to be "under served" medically. You might try to findout if there is a way you could pledge to work in one of those areas for a requisite period of time. It's a long shot.
