My friend was told by an ex partner that he had chlamydia and that she should get tested. she got tested but was at the very end of her period at the time, which the doctor said could screw up the results. It did, but the doctor gave her the pill to cure it anyway. and as far as i know she's fine. You should however (if your doc is good) have a follow up swab test done to make sure the chlamydia is gone. Chlamydia is pretty harmless when you consider that it is curable.... but if left untreated for a long time, can cause infertility and cervical cancer. Go get tested! don't be ashamed! And use condoms next time,k ?

You are receiving the two antibiotics recommended by the CDC as first choices. You might consider making an appointment with your Gyno timed around the time the antibiotic runs out - maybe 7 days won't be long enough.
