Medicine For Sinus Infection

Billy Said:

What is a good OTC medicine for a Sinus Infection?

We Answered:

You can get rid of a sinus infection without going to the dr. for an antibiotic. Olive leaf, oregano oil, colloidal silver, Vitamin C, echinacea and goldenseal and garlic will all help in getting over it.
I don't know why the minute you mention an "infection", people assume you have to see a dr. for a prescription. There are several of nature's antibiotics that work even better and faster, and of course are far safer.

Sinus Infection Medicine?

We Answered:

If it's an infection you need an antibiotic. Over the counter meds won't clear up the green mucus.

Try this. Boil a pot of water, a good size pot. Put about 1/4 c salt in it.
Take it to a table, (put a hot pad under it) get a bath towel and sit with the towel over your head and the pot. (don't completely cover your head) Take in small breaths. Try through your nose, but if you can't just breath in the steam. This is going to make you nose run, and help with the pressure behind your cheeks and teeth.

But call your Dr. You need an antibiotic.

I take Sudafed and Benadryl. Those are the only things that work for when my allergies are acting up. Non-drowsy Sudafed during the day... Benadryl at night. It will knock you out and you should wake up feeling better.
