They are well meaning, and do a great deal of service. I suspect that they do, on the whole, more good than harm. I, too, wonder if the economic resources expended on them would be better used in providing farm implements, high quality seed, and high quality breeding livestock.

I have heard about the work that Doctors without Borders is doing and I think it's great that they are able to try and help out in other parts of the world.
